ACCEPTABLE WASTE
Waste permitted for disposal at the Atmore Landfill consists of non-hazardous construction and demolition debris, stumps, limbs, inert materials and fines, lawn and garden waste, plastic, rubber and metal products, paper, and other non-putrescible waste generated in Escambia County, Alabama. The following is a list of typical waste which may and may not be accepted:

Waste which has been contaminated by food products, oil, or other unacceptable substances will not be accepted.
All waste streams will be approved prior to acceptance of waste.
White goods such as refrigerators will be accepted for recycling. There will be a surcharge for items requiring freon removal.
