A Look Back at Our 2021 Elf on the Shelf Contest in Atmore

atmore

Each year, Carney, the magical Elf on the Shelf, travels all the way to Atmore from the North Pole to visit our community and spread holiday cheer. This year, Carney visited us at local Atmore Area Chamber member businesses for nineteen days (Nov. 27th to Dec. 16th), and everyone had a magical time participating in our holiday scavenger hunt! The scavenger hunt is a super-fun, family-friendly activity; community members and guests had a great time exploring our city to find out where Carney hid with us while here! Keep reading for more fun highlights from our annual holiday contest!

Carney’s Magic Stocking

While Carney, Atmore’s favorite Elf on the Shelf, visited each chamber member’s business, he looked for some of his favorite Christmas items to bring back to the North Pole for Santa to give as gifts. He couldn’t carry it all—his bag was too heavy to hold all of those special prizes! So what did Carney do with the presents he couldn’t take with him? He made a stocking stuffed with goodies and gave it to the family that won the hunt!

Magical Passports

Families who were a part of the scavenger hunt received a magical passport full of special hints and clues that led to Carney’s hiding spots. Each time one of our friends spotted Carney, an employee of that Chamber member’s business stamped their passport to approve their findings so the Chamber office could report it to Santa! Each of the passports with twenty stamps or more were entered to win Carney’s magic stocking.

Who Won the Magical Stocking?

The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Breanna Ford won Carney’s Magical Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt! Congratulations to Breanna and her family!
