Santa on Main & the Atmore Annual Christmas Parade: What’s Happening this Month

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! December is always full of fun events, family gatherings, and small-town charm. Keep reading for what’s happening this month in Atmore!

Santa on Main

Your kids won’t have to write to Santa in the North Pole to tell him what they want for Christmas—they can tell him in person! Santa Claus will be coming to Atmore on December 2 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. You can find him in the alley next to The Junky Pearl right here in Atmore, Alabama!

To make the holiday memories even more special, House Photography will be there! You’ll be able to get a professional photo of your child (or children) with Santa after he arrives on the lighted Atmore train. In addition to Santa and a Christmas train ride, you and your family can enjoy hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, making reindeer food, and more. This free event is perfect for the whole family to enjoy!

Twilight Christmas Parade

No holiday season is complete without a proper Christmas parade! Atmore’s annual Twilight Christmas Parade is December 11 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This free, family-friendly event is two miles long and runs down Main Street. Plus, this year’s theme is a fun one: Christmas in the South! Bring the whole family, and snag a great spot on Main Street for this much-anticipated annual event.
